1. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials and any connected OAuth accounts secure. You must be old enough to legally consent to these terms in your country of residence to create an account.
2. Companions & content
You own the personality, lore, and text you write for your companions. You're responsible for the content of any companion you create or publish to the Discovery Feed, and for any conversations you have through Calyra. Do not create companions that impersonate real people without consent, or that are used to harass, deceive, or exploit others.
3. Discord integration
If you connect a Discord bot token, you confirm you have the right to use that token and to add the resulting bot to any server you connect it to. Calyra bots only respond inside Discord Threads by design.
4. AI-generated responses
Companion replies are generated by third-party language models via the official API from each model provider. Responses may be inaccurate, unexpected, or inappropriate to context. Calyra is a creative and entertainment tool — do not rely on companion responses for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
5. Subscription tiers & billing
Tiers (Free, Pro, Ultra) determine message limits, available models, and companion slots. Pro and Ultra are paid subscriptions billed securely through PayPal and renew automatically every 30 days until you switch back to Free from your Billing page. You can downgrade at any time to stop future charges; downgrades take effect immediately and are not prorated. See our Refund Policy for how charges are handled.
6. Fair use
We may suspend or limit accounts that abuse rate limits, attempt to circumvent tier restrictions, or use the platform to generate harmful or illegal content.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as Calyra evolves. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
