Most companion chat apps feel disposable — generic personalities, no memory, no real place to grow them. Calyra lets anyone craft a character with real depth: personality, likes, dislikes, lore, and a voice that stays consistent whether you're talking on the web or inside a Discord thread with friends.
How it works
Every companion you create in the Studio is powered by real language models via the official API from each model provider, with a personality prompt compiled from the details you give it. If you connect a Discord bot token, that same companion comes alive in your own server — but only inside Threads, so it never talks over your regular channels.
Our approach to tiers
Calyra offers Free, Pro, and Ultra tiers with different message limits, model access, and companion slots. We're upfront that billing is still evolving — until real payment processing is wired in, tiers are switchable directly from your account for testing and early access.
Who's behind it
Calyra is built and maintained by a small, hands-on team rather than a faceless company. That means changes ship fast, and feedback actually reaches the person who can act on it.
